About Bridget
Hello! My name is Bridget Butterworth, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. As a part of the counseling team here at Hill Country since 2017, I have had the honor of working with people in all ages and stages of life, with a focus on teens and adults dealing with issues of anxiety/depression, trauma, relationships, identity, and spirituality. It is my honor and joy to walk alongside people in some of their darkest moments to help bring healing, create new stories of hope and truth, and empower people to become more of who they are in Christ.
I take great care to seamlessly integrate biblical truth with various psychological theories to assist my clients toward their therapeutic goals. My work is informed by training in various modalities including Brainspotting and EMDR, and personal study in Bowen Family Systems theory and Internal Family Systems theory, among others.
I would love to hear your story, and I believe that as we compassionately consider each piece of what you are walking through, we can create something beautiful together that shines as a bright light to all who you love most.
