As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work with children ages 5 and up, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. As a native Austinite, I've always been drawn to encouraging and supporting others. My passion for counseling began in high school when an inspiring psychology teacher helped me recognize that my strengths were well suited for this work. After earning my undergraduate degree in psychology, life took me on several unexpected paths before I completed my Master's in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Looking back, those experiences gave me a depth of perspective and compassion that enriches the way I connect with clients today.
I believe lasting change happens through meaningful experiences, not just insight alone. My approach is rooted in experiential therapy, creating opportunities for clients to move beyond simply talking about their challenges to actively engaging with emotions, relationships, and patterns that keep them stuck. I strive to create a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.
A central part of my work is incorporating Restoration Therapy®, which helps individuals, couples, and families identify the relational patterns and protective responses that often fuel conflict, anxiety, disconnection, and emotional pain. Together, we work to recognize these patterns, understand their origins, and develop healthier ways of responding that promote lasting change and deeper connection.
I view every client holistically, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced by many interconnected factors, including physical health, relationships, thought patterns, family dynamics, and, when desired, spiritual beliefs. While my work is experiential in nature, I also integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems principles to provide practical tools alongside deeper emotional healing.
Above all, I want my clients to experience hope. Difficult seasons can make it feel as though change is impossible, but healing is possible when we face those struggles together. My goal is to help clients not only build resilience but also discover renewed freedom, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of joy and purpose.
