While God’s truth is always the same, the way that people respond differs.  One reason this is true is because the truth is the same every time, but the soil is different.  Consider how you react to God’s truth and His call on your life.

What if time is a gift from God? Do you ever think about how God wants you to spend your time? Consider what stewarding your time wisely means and how that might impact your life and the lives of those around you.

Do you think it’s possible that God’s calling you to move more of your life from your responsibility to His responsibility? Consider that God wants you “all in” with your life. And He will give you clarity when you seek and work to hear Him.

Scriptures in the Bible tell us that it’s important to spend time with God’s family. This is because in God’s family, we help each other, and hold, build, and fire each other up. So, as you consider your faith journey, remember that you’re only as strong as your commitment to God’s family.

Data indicates a decline in the church, with a shift in loyalty, engagement, and values.  Do you find this information discouraging? As Christ-followers, our greatest opportunities are to raise and reach.  

In Luke 18, we see that Jesus desires that we pray with tenacity, humility, and persistence. Life and attitudes, such as busyness and the quest for quick responses, can be obstacles to this prayer posture. Identify specific obstacles in your life, and ways that you can remove them to enhance your prayer life.    

When you consider the mission of prayer, have you thought that perhaps your prayers need to change you more than your circumstances? Think of it this way: sometimes what you seek for you needs to happen in you. And as you engage in intentional prayer, turn to the Bible with help on how to pray.

Prayer greatly impacts our life, both tangibly and spiritually. However, like most practices, prayer require intentionally. So, it’s important to have dedicated time to come before God in both focused prayer and confession.
