New Testament Survey

The resurrected Jesus walked along the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus with two disciples. In their conversation, Luke’s Gospel tells us, "He said to them, 'How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?' And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." (24:25-27) Jesus laid out for these men the Old Testament in a way that opened their eyes and hearts to the message that was there all along, but they’d missed it.

Would you like to dig into the Old Testament in that way? Would you like to open up that portion of your Bible that represents roughly two thirds of God’s written revelation and see the fuller story He’s given us? Old Testament survey will help you see this God who has been on mission from the very beginning to create and now redeem a people for himself. The course will seek to stir you to live that mission as you come face-to-face with the God of the Old Testament anew.
