Global Outreach at Hill Country Bible Church desires to see students from our church catch God’s heart for all nations and mobilize them toward a life-long commitment to God’s global mission. To help in this process we are creating a Global Outreach Student Fellowship so we can come alongside students and help them grow in their knowledge of God's heart for the nations.

The Global Outreach Student Fellowship will walk students through a set of requirements in the months leading up to their GO Trip. Once all the requirements are met Global Outreach will help fund the student’s 2025 GO Trip.

We believe that a life-changing step in understanding God’s global mission is participating in a GO trip during their high school years. As an investment in the students of Hill Country Bible Church, Global Outreach will help fund a student’s 2025 Go Trip (minus the deposit) once they have completed the fellowship requirements listed below.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students currently in the 11^th or 12^th grades for the 2024-2025 academic year.
• A believer who is actively engaged at Hill Country Bible Church.
• Student plans to participate in a Hill Country Bible Church GO Trip in 2025.
• Completion of the Fellowship Application by January 10, 2025.
• Complete an application for a GO Trip by January 31, 2025.

Fellowship Requirements

• Complete the fellowship agreement by getting signatures from a parent/guardian and a Student Ministry Director.
• Pay the 10% trip deposit upon trip application approval.
• Actively participate in a small group or discipleship relationship.
• Watch a 30-minute sermon provided by Global Outreach and write a one-page reflection on what you learned from the sermon and how it will impact your life.
• Participate in a 7-week Xplore Bible study prior to the GO Trip departure.
• Attend an event put on by Global Outreach in the spring.
• Attend the 4 mandatory Pre-Field Trainings for your GO trip.
• Build a prayer support team by sending out letters (training will be provided).

Once these steps are complete, funds will be applied to the trip balance on the student’s personal trip page.

What can the fellowship funds be used for?
Fellowship funds can only be applied towards a 2025 Hill Country Bible Church GO Trip balance online. Funds will not be distributed to students, and funds do not carry over in the event the student does not go on the Go Trip in 2025. Any personal expenses linked to the trip are not covered, including but not limited to stamps, passports, immunizations, medications, or supplies. Souvenirs and recreational outings are also not covered.

How much will I receive towards my GO trip as a member of the fellowship program?

The fellowship funds will cover the full cost (minus the deposit) of your GO Trip. Fellowship funds shall not exceed $2250.

What if all the requirements are not fulfilled?

Failure to fulfill the requirements will result in forfeiting fellowship funds. If the student applies for and is accepted on a GO Trip but fails to fulfill the fellowship requirements, he/she will still be able to travel on the trip as long as they attend the four trainings. Student will be fully responsible for trip costs and will need to raise the full trip costs.
